Chewy Caramel-Coconut Brownie

Lets get fat together! Yep, these are slightly outrageousfull of crazy gooeyness from the caramel, a chewiness from the brownies, nuttiness from the pecans and over the top awesomeness with the coconut. Theres a lot going on in this bar, but trust me when I say, the only thing you will notice is how many are left for your next serving.

I made these over the weekend and took them to a family get together and they were enjoyed by kids and adults alike.

Chewy Caramel-Coconut Brownies

Yield: 48 servings


Recipe adapted from Better Homes and Gardens
1 package 2-layer-size German chocolate cake mix
3/4 cup butter, melted
1 5 ounce can (2/3 cup) evaporated milk
1 14 ounce package vanilla caramels, unwrapped
3/4 cup chopped pecans
3/4 cup semisweet chocolate pieces
3/4 cup sweetened shredded coconut


Preparation: Preheat oven to 350 degreesF. Grease a 13x9x2-inch baking pan; set aside.
